Black Falcon Series Review

Black Falcon series by Michelle A. Valentine

Four years ago, Lanie broke Noel Falcon's heart and left him on that tiny dock back home in Texas. Now Noel is part of the very popular band, The Black Falcon's and Lanie is just getting her foot in the door with Center Stage Marketing. After no one that's established within the company wants to go head up the campaign the band wants to run, Lanie gets told to pack her things and go prove herself. It's then that Lanie is forced to face her past with Noel and her own left over feelings.

Noel's heart still belongs to Lanie, four years have gone by but he never stopped loving her and he sets out to prove it. But he's keeping a big secret and when it's revealed it nearly shatters them. Love takes a lot of work, and a lot of fighting, and there's a big pull between them that can't be forgotten even through heartbreak. After finding their way back to the basics of their love, Lanie and Noel discover that growing up and growing apart makes them even closer now and able to have the happily ever after they wanted back in high school before music became center stage.

Rock My Bed is about Riff and Aubrey. You see bits and pieces of their relationship in the first 2 books, but you get to see it all from the beginning in Rock My Bed. Riff has a heartbreaking history and it makes you want to hate his dad for how he treated him, and you can kind of see why Riff turns where he can for affection after what he's been through. Aubrey is having to decide where her heart truly lies. She feels so many things when she's with Riff, but she sees him as her last hurrah before finding someone to settle down with per her mother's suggestions. But she can't let Riff go and they both have to stop fighting the attraction and make each other happy.
