If I Were You  by Lisa Renee Jones

Sara was a highschool teacher. But she wanted to be more then that. One day her best friend, in a rush to leave with  her new fiance, gives Sara the keys to a storage unit they bought and tells her to help herself or sell it. She decides to take a peek around and discovers journals left behind  by the previous owner. Inside these journals is a secret sexy life that is much more then Sara ever bargained for. But she can't put the journals down, trying to find out more about this woman, Rebecca. In making a decision to return the journals where they belong,  Sara walks into her dream job in an Art Gallery with a  very handsome owner, Mark Compton. And also ends up meeting Chris Merrit, an artist who she feels very connected to right away. Sara soon learns that Rebecca has been missing for some time, and the only clues to her whereabouts are contained in the journals and her office at the Art Gallery. Sara finds herself slowly stepping into Rebecca's life as she tries to solve the mystery of where she is,  who is involved and what's going to happen to her own life.

Volume 4: My Master

The Seduction by Lisa Renee Jones
Rebecca Mason has had a rough year. Her mother passed away after a fight with lung cancer and left her with nothing but the pile of medical bills and continuing nightmares. On the anniversary of her mother's death, planning to celebrate surviving, she finds herself at the gallery she has always dreamed of working and into the path of handsome gallery owner, Mark Compton and an internship. Putting her art degree to good use has always been Rebecca's hope and she sets out to prove her worth, all while pulling double duty waitressing in the fancy restaurant near the gallery and working her butt off at the gallery. Among all this, she meets him, a man who she may only call "Master" that turns her life upside down and leaves her more confused and alive then she has ever felt before. She just has to decide whether or not to sign his contract.

The Contract by Lisa Renee Jones
Still undecided about saying yes to the "Master", Rebecca decides to allow him to "teach" her the things that make her uncomfortable. Even on her lunch breaks, leaving her very aware of him even when he's not there. Mark is also expecting a lot from her at the gallery, and Ricco, a famous artist, allows her to bring clients to his private gallery when no else is allowed. Rebecca has many men in her life, and a chatty coffee shop friend that has a history with a couple of them. Working through her fears, Rebecca learns to trust her "Master", and as he requested, gives him her mind, body, and even her heart. If he returns her feelings, is one of the unknowns.

His Submissive by Lisa Renee Jones

She's made her decision. But he doesn't approve of it. Not yet, and she receives the punishment for it. Afterwards, feeling mad and embarrased, she sets out to figure out what she truly wants. Having to see the "Master" at a big event with a beautiful artist doesn't help matters either. And to top things, an ex fling just won't leave her alone, no matter how many times she's told him to back off. The only one who comes to her rescue is him, and he leads her even further down the dark path with his wicked ways, along with the mysterious other Master who thrills her and confuses her just as much, and into the private pleasure club. And then, she belonged to him.

My Master by Lisa Renee Jones

She was in way over her head. She was in love with him. Just like the contract had said, she gave him her heart. The only problem is, he hasn't given her his. The time has come to renew the contract, and he wants her to move in and tries to make her feel special by telling her that no other Sub has ever had the chance. But Rebecca doesn't want to just be his Sub anymore, she wants more. He tries all things at hand to draw her back in, all forms of wooing and seduction to remind her of what he brings her as her Master. But in the end, it's not enough, because he may be scared of losing her and the control he holds over her, but she's even more scared of giving him her heart and receiving nothing but another contract to sign in return.

I really loved getting to "be" inside of Rebecca's head more with these journals! It's interesting how her's and Sara's relationships with people from the gallery and the coffee shop differ and how although they share the same passion for art, their passion for their men is so much more. I can't wait to discover just who "Master" and possibly "Master Two" is!

Being Me Review

I received a ARC copy of this book from rhe author in exchange for an honest review!

Being Me by Lisa Renee Jones

At the end all I could think was Holy Crap! Being Me picks up where If I Were You left off, Sara finds herself having to escape the storage unit and into the arms of the one person who is the center of her crazy world, her Dark Prince, Chris. Chris and Sara's relationship is rocky at best, and her past colliding with the present makes her feel even more unsure of everything, but Chris sets out to straighten that. Armed with the journals, and the help of a PI, Sara and Chris continue their journey to find where Rebecca is and what could of possibly happened to her. Finding her puts Sara's own safety at risk, and Sara finds that people she thought she knew aren't exactly who she thinks they are, and she fears that Rebecca had to come to that same conclusion. Despite the mystery of Rebecca, Sara and Chris's relationship is as steamy as ever. "There is no in-between", Chris often tells her and Sara has to slowly let go of her insecurities and bring him pleasure through his emotional and physical pain. Sara has discovered that although she tumbled into Rebecca's life and basically took it over, that she  can  learn to step back, and be herself all over again.

Questions left at the end of If I Were You are answered, and Being Me leaves you wondering new ones! It kept me hooked from the get go wanting to learn more about everything going on in their world and the conclusion left me wanting even more! Can't wait for Revealing Us in September!
